Elder emo turned wedding photographer

WE’RE BASICALLY A MATCH MADE IN HEAVEN

Hello, friends! I’m Nicole!

Even though I seem shy and awkward to start, once i’m in front of my camera I turn into your biggest fan. I talk you through every moment of your session so there’s no awkward silence. I’m constantly yelling at you to cheer you on. And you’ll never get the chance to ask “what should I do with my hands?” Although your session might be MY 215th engagement session, or MY 103rd wedding, it’s (usually) your FIRST session/wedding. I want to make sure it’s seamless, stress-free, and that you are 100% comfortable. I ask for consent before I approach you to adjust hair, clothing, etc. I’ll make sure you’re okay with every pose or action i’m having you do. I will check in on you throughout our time together to see if you need a break.

This is my husband, David!

Believe it or not we met on Tumblr. We had our first in person meet up at Amoeba in Hollywood (RIP). It's been 7 years and now we have 4 fur babies and are coming in on our 5th anniversary as home owners. We finally tied the knot on 10/21/22! Our favorite thing to do together is play with our pups and eat at new foodie spots. We constantly quote TikToks and bring out the weirdos in each other.
10/10 recommend.

The Place on Beverly

I took a leap and started my very own photography studio,  The Place on Beverly. Located in Whittier, the main room is a boho modern themed room with a rust orange leather couch and a beautiful golden 'Anthropologie-dupe' mirror with plenty of pampas grass. The second room is a bedroom with another large gold framed mirror, peacock chair, and even more pampas. There is plenty of window light, and I do have backdrops available if you need them in a variety of colors!
Perfect for any occasion, our studio is built to compliment you.

Showing you how
beautiful I see you

“WHY” I love photography is because I believe everyone should have tangible, long-lasting memories of the most cherished moments in their lives. I’m also a firm believer in loving yourself, and I strive to make sure all of my couples/clients feel as beautiful as I see them through my camera.
